Korean Alt pop artist ID:EARTH shares the ruminative ballad “Panorama” [BPM Premiere]

South Korean singer-songwriter and musician ID:EARTH (or 아이디얼스) has been turning heads of late with her emotive, deeply felt brand of Alt pop. Shifting seamlessly between English and her native Korean, she transcends language and cultural barriers through the sheer power of her ballads. We at Beats Per Minute are pleased to premiere her latest single, “Panorama”, taken from her EP of the same name, out today.

Hailing from Seoul, ID:EARTH, which means the identity of the Earth, began releasing music in 2019, quickly catching attention for her experimental genre-blending. Her latest is no exception, driven by piano and electronic elements, lo-fi wizardry rising and falling behind her powerful, expressive voice.

Speaking on the track, she shares, “Panorama moves between time and space and takes us back to the present. The realisation I get through the perspective view of my life. I will become another fixed luminous point of today that shines more day by day; to the floating stars in the sky, spreading a panorama until it reaches the heavens. It is a bird’s eye view of my life and I look to seek enlightenment with our surroundings. The celestial beings floating in the ether, shimmering every day to be another star of today until we are exposed by view and our eyes are finally opened.
