Atlanta duo Coco & Clair Clair have dropped off their second new single in just over a week, following “Coldplay” with “One One”.
A typically sassy cut, “One One” is addressed to an ex of some five years past whom they’re clearly not still mad at: “Let me get this straight I wasn’t the right one / five years later see you’ve got a dumb dumb.” Anyway, Coco & Clair Clair are now sipping gin in London, have got a new bae and “hope you’re doing well but, shit – not really”. They go on to flaunt their “one that got away” status over a vibrant array of electronic production that underscores their no-fucks-given attitude. There’s no crumbs here.
