Christine and the Queens amalgamates identity and artistry on the dramatic “la chanson du chevalier”

Christine and the Queens, working as the new alias Redcar, is one month away from the release of the new album Redcar les adorables étoiles. Today we get another teaser of what to expect with “la chanson de chevalier”.

As expected by the title (which translates to “the song of the knight”), it finds Redcar singing to a knight – one that lives in his prayers and is exhibited as the classic sculpture “l’Age d’airain” by Rodin, which appears in the video. A dramatic and groovy synth piece, Redcar uses “le chanson de chevalier” to explore physicality, identity and artistry – all while providing the most delectable and meaty production we’ve yet heard from the project.

Check out the video from “la chanson du chevalier” below or listen on streaming platforms.

Redcar les adorables étoiles arrives on November 11 through Because Music (pre-order/save). Find Christine and the Queens on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Instagram.
