Grete shares a touching tribute on “see u more”

My two favorite ballad singers are both in England: Sienna Spiro in London and Grete Eitmantyte in Manchester. The latter has a moving new song called “see u more” where she wrote the elegant arrangement for a string quartet and piano.

“I wrote ‘see u more’ shortly after losing my grandma,” says Grete. “It was one of those cases when you’re in bed, almost asleep, and everything at once comes into your head. So I grabbed my phone and started writing the lyrics.”

When Grete isn’t performing haunting ballads, she’s writing uptempo dance bangers in the style of Tove Lo and The Weeknd. If she ever plays the Royal Albert Hall in London, she’ll have to book two evenings: one for majestic ballads, one for dance grooves.
