Crack Cloud deliver the electrifyingly paranoid “Tunnel Vision”

Vancouver collective Crack Cloud will be releasing their debut album Pain Olympics on July 17, and today have shared another new song from it called “Tunnel Vision”.

While previous song “Ouster Stew” was a vibrant 80s-throwback, “Tunnel Vision” veers into straight-ahead post-punk. It starts positively enough with bouncy bass adding buoyancy to the ominous and agitated lyrics about doubt, fear and power. Then Crack Cloud guide “Tunnel Vision” into a fuzzed-out dart for escape, filled with soaring guitars, frantic drumming and even gangs of exhausted screams – a thrilling, if unsettling, jam.
