Beauty School Dropout soar on “Beautiful Waste”

It’s been a beautiful year so far for Beauty School Dropout, the LA trio who just dropped their new single “Beautiful Waste” and will take the stage later this week at Lollapalooza. The new song has all the ingredients needed for a summer smash: energetic vocals, superb production and a chorus that takes over your waking life.

There have been a lot of single-name artists in pop over the years (Sting, Drake, etc.), and one of them is in BSD: Bardo, the rhythm guitarist. The other members are singer Colie Hutzler and bassist Beepus Burdett. They’ve been described as “Motley Crue meets Red Hot Chili Peppers” – a spot-on comparison.

The lads in BSD note that “‘Beautiful Waste’ is about chasing that relationship that is built to fail. Everyone has that someone that they would bend over backwards for, but you might not see the love returned. To sum it up: “I can take you out for breakfast, but he can take you around the world.“”

Listen to “Beautiful Waste” below, or find it on the streaming services.

Their album Ready To Eat arrives in October.
