Sexy synth mastermind Juan Maclean is back with a brand new, digital only, album this Fall. DFA Records will release Everybody Get Close November 6th, a compilation of previous work and remixes. Of the eleven tracks, five of them are from the previously tour only Find a Way EP, but included in the new material is the title track “Everybody Get Close.” It’s a return to some of Maclean’s earlier roots, drenched in vocoded vocals and trippy synthesizers. Cut Copy also lend a hand with their remix of Maclean’s incredible track “Happy House,” previously released on a digital version of the 12″. Maclean and now fulltime band member Nancy Whang are at work on a completely new album as well, and along with Everybody Get Close and Maclean’s side project Peach Melba, it’s been a busy year for the disco house revivalist.
