Career-spanning Talking Heads live DVD announced

If you’re reading this then you’re probably a Talking Heads fan. If you’re a Talking Heads fan you’ve probably seen Stop Making Sense. If you’ve seen Stop Making Sense you’re probably wondering why Talking Heads need to put out another live DVD.

The new DVD, entitled Chronology features videos shot from various performances through Talking Heads’ existence in the late 70s and early 80s and even concludes with their last performance: 2002’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. The tracklist for Chronology shares only six songs with Stop Making Sense (the most notable absence being “Once In A Lifetime”). The DVD comes out on October 18th and if you buy the deluxe edition you’ll get a 48-page book that features photos and an essay by Lester Bangs.

Check out the tracklist below, which also tells you in what year the footage for that particular song was shot.
