Wavves announce Life Sux EP; Recording new album

Love him or hate him, the ever-divisive Nathan Williams, the brains behind Wavves, is set to release the first effort on his newly minted Ghost Ramp. Building upon the success and more mature sound of King of the Beach, Life Sux will feature more of the bouncy and lovable grage-pop that we’ve come to know and love Williams for, a fun departure as we await a new full length. And that wait shouldn’t be too delayed, as Wavves are currently in the studio recording their next album, preliminarily set for release late in 2011. Check out the bonus track “In the Sand” performed live at this year’s Bonnaroo Festival along with the full Life Sux track list after the break.
