You might have heard the buzz around Vancouver collective Crack Cloud when they released their duo of EPs in 2018, but if not, now’s the time to immerse yourself in the mayhem. Crack Cloud will be releasing a debut album called PAIN OLYMPICS on July 17 through Meat Machine.
Ahead of that, they have today shared a new song called “Ouster Stew”. A synth-bop through modern paranoia, “Ouster Stew” gives Crack Cloud opportunity to show off their diverse talents on the mic and off it. Sounding both modern and retro, Crack Cloud take us through tunnels of sound that remind us of teenage movies, but where the walls curdle with encroaching worries, characterised by the agitated singing, acidic saxophone and fidgeting drum breaks.
