If you aren’t familiar with The So So Glos yet, don’t be alarmed, as their debut album isn’t expected until the spring of 2012. But, the band, who helped build and run both the Market Hotel and Shea Stadium in NYC, has a piledriver of a first single to offer in the form of “Lost Weekend.” The initial bounce of the track may remind some of The Drums, but the steady build and screaming climaxes (yes, this song ha multiple climaxes) bring to mind something bigger than we have heard in a while. Download the tune below and look for their debut as the first ever release from Shea Stadium Records next year.
