Blonde Redhead doesn’t often appear in their own videos, but they change up that tradition a little bit in the latest video for “Not Getting There”. Rife with darkness, lazers, smoke, and equine imagery to reflect Kazu Makino’s equestrian accident (now about a decade behind her), the band is set up in a tight circle, playing through the song, with the camera occasionally panning out to show Makino in a few horse-themed frames. The video is not as conceptual as the rest of their video collection, but it’s still worth a few minutes of your time, especially if you’re a fan. Check it out after the jump:
