Whatever way you spin it, Philadelphia rapper Dappa has been on the come up. Having toured with Conway the Machine as an opener on his Love Will Get You Killed Tour, Dappa is now gearing up to release his new album, Thanks For Nothin 2. The project is set to feature Benny the Butcher, Reason, and none other than Beats Per Minute favorite WESTSIDE BOOGIE.
To kick of the hype cycle, he’s shared the track featuring the former, “Selfies in the Wraith”. Opening with twinkling keys and a soulful sample, Dappa’s blunt vocals enter the picture before the beat drops properly, with drums and more soon joining in behind him. It’s a proper anthem, and, naturally, Benny’s presence doesn’t hurt.
