On Thursday we posted the news that Reigning Sound would be releasing a brand new mini-lp titled Abdication via Scion A/V in the near future and last night Paste premiered a first track from it; “Lyin’ Girl”. “Lyin’ Girl” is a pretty great track and it has all the qualities you’d hope for in a new Reigning Sound track: great guitar, lyrics about relationships, etc and you can listen to and download it using the widget below, in exchange for an e-mail address.
Besides “Lyin’ Girl” we’ve also gotten a bit of more info on Abdication: it’ll be released for free on November 1 and seems to contain eight tracks, plus we’ve got the album cover available for you above. Personally I can’t wait for the full mini-lp, but thankfully there’s only a few days to go so for now we’ll have to be satisfied with “Lyin’ Girl”.
