Yesterday we posted the new King Khan Experience EP, which was released for free via Scion A/V, and last night Scion A/V announced another release by a great garage rock band. The band in question is Greg Cartwright’s Reigning Sound who, in my opinion, are arguably the best garage rock band of the 2000s and will be releasing a mini-lp titled Abdication via Scion A/V.
The last thing we heard from Reigning Sound was the split 7″ with Last Year’s Men, which was released this summer – also via Scion A/V, and before that we got the excellent Love & Curses lp in 2009. As of now the title of the mini-lp and the fact that it’s actually coming is all the info we’ve got concerning Abdication, but stay tuned for more info.
