Logic1000 shares the hope-infused tech-house tune “I Won’t Forget”, announces new EP

Samantha Poulter aka Logic1000 released one of our favourite dance singles of the year in “Perfume” (the b-side “Blossom” was excellent too), so we’re excited to bring the news that she’s got a new EP called You’ve Got The Whole Night To Go arriving on January 22 via her own Therapy imprint. It’s trailed by the lead single “I Won’t Forget”, with Logic1000 saying:

“There was no doubt in my mind that ‘I Won’t Forget’ would be the lead track off You’ve Got The Whole Night To Go. I love its slow build up and how euphoric the vocal is. I wanted to create a mood that was hopeful for a brighter future. I look forward to playing this one in a festival setting. Hoping to get everyone’s hands in the air!”

Indeed, it’s almost impossible to listen to “I Won’t Forget” without your imagination immediately transporting you to the dark nights, vibrant lights, and sheer elation of a good night out. Kicking forward on exquisitely detailed beats and clipped samples, “I Won’t Forget” immediately gets you in its sway, perfectly in place to feel the gentle impact of the synths and samples as they get threaded into the track. The title of the EP, You’ve Got The Whole Night To Go, suggests this one might be played early on in the night while things are warming up, and it would be a surefire party starter in any location. In listening to “I Won’t Forget”, the hope and happiness that Logic1000 put into its creation easily descends upon you, and we all feel ready for an energetic 2021 that is going to make up for this dead year.

Logic1000’s new EP, You’ve Got The Whole Night To Go, arrives on January 22 via Therapy. You can find her on Bandcamp, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
