Third time’s a charm, so they say. We’ve already heard “Toni” and “Something Changed”, and today Interpol share their third new single, “Fables”, as they tease out their 11-track album The Other Side of Make Believe out July 15 via Matador.
“‘Fables’ features one of Daniel’s hottest licks,” comments Paul Banks. “A breezy vocal with optimistic lyrics, and a bouncy drum beat evocative of classic R&B with a nod to the golden age of hip hop. It’s a summer jam and a piece of music we are particularly proud of.”
“Fables” was introduced live during their recent tour dates as was a fourth track, “Into the Night”. Check out the lyric video below or find it on streaming platforms.
