Foxing express their commitment on an epic scale in “Draw Down The Moon”

With their new album Draw Down The Moon arriving in just a matter of weeks, Foxing are stoking excitement with a fifth (!) single – this time the title track. They say:

“It’s about the idea of your cosmic significance. The way you feel like a tiny speck in the grand scheme of the universe, that’s a feeling everybody has. You can get lost thinking about how small you are. Draw Down The Moon explores how our connections to people and places and ideas are what binds us to the universe and reality.”

Having never been afraid to dabble in the forlorn and hopeless, Foxing fight through it on “Draw Down The Moon” to deliver one of their most heedlessly devoted tracks yet. A bounding bassline and clanking percussion ensure the atmosphere is tense and lively, while they promise “I’m never gonna stop loving you” – and that’s only the start. Into the spiralling vocal melodies of the power-pop chorus, beginning with an elongated “I” that’ll immediately hook itself in your brain, they up the ante: “I want to draw down the moon / For nothing but to deserve you.” Having built up a maelstrom of powerful playing as they go, there’s no doubting their sincerity and commitment.

The video for “Draw Down The Moon” is vocalist Conor Murphy’s directorial debut and stars the Tony, Grammy & Emmy award-winning, legendary actor, André De Shields.

Foxing’s new album Draw Down The Moon comes out on August 6 through their own Grand Paradise imprint (pre-order/save). They’re also playing a record release show that’ll be live streamed at 6pm PT on release day (tickets).
