Dove Armitage brings cool charisma to “Brittle”

Dove Armitage has a new single “Brittle” that’s fresh and hypnotic. Dove is the alter ego of Quincy Larsen, a multi-talented L.A. songwriter and musician (stellar bass and synths) who also exhibits cinematic flair on the song’s video. “Brittle” is the lead single from Dove’s next EP with the provocative title Concernless, coming in November.

Armitage oozes charisma on the “Brittle” video, where she twerks for teddy bears and sports scarlet headscarves in both farm and city locales.

I like these two people,” the artist says. “I would say Quincy is the bubbly one, Dove is the darker one. I started letting my demons teach me rather than ignoring them. I might as well give them attention, but do so in a positive way.

Dove adds that “the things we go through as humans, as women, as queer people suck, but they can make us better, too.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Dove/Quincy has a brilliant career in both music and movies. Her talent is like a tractor beam that grabs you and won’t let go.
