Corridor share hypnotic dream punk tune “Et Hop”

Canadian group Corridor have put their own suave spin on the slinky, chorus-guitar laced post-punk sound established by highly influential bands like Deerhunter and Women, as their 2019 Sub Pop breakthrough Junior turned plenty of heads. Turns out Corridor are withholding plenty of great material still on the cutting room floor, as evidenced by the hypnotic “Et Hop”, a French-sung, spectral-like track that makes the knotty guitars contort and percolate like strands of smoke.

The song sprung from past sessions for the band’s second LP Supermercado, now released to mark the University of Montréal’s student radio station CISM’s 30-year anniversary.

You can hear the song below, as well as the colorful, vaudevillian visuals.

Corridor are also set to play a couple of shows during the Fall of 2021, all the way to the beginning of 2022. Check out the dates and venues below.
