The new video for Julianna Barwick’s “The Harbinger” (from this year’s excellent and recommended Nepenthe) features her in a state that many probably feel like when listening to her music. In the Derrick Belcham-directed clip, Barwick floats in a pool, suspended in a sort of limbo that makes her look like some beautiful jellyfish as her dress and hair move gently and carefully with the water. From there she wanders rooms as a faint ghost, following the actions of a women who seeks a sort of catharsis. Watch the video for “The Harbinger” below.
