Sharon Van Etten’s new album
Tramp isn’t set for release until February, but the first single from it, “Serpents,” is out now digitally (you can hear it
here if you missed it). Along with “Serpents” the digital single comes with a non-album b-side called “Mike McDermott.” The song is available to
stream now on Spotify. It’s crunchy and rather different than anything Sharon has done on
Tramp or on previous albums. So if you’re looking for clues as to what
Tramp may sound like, this isn’t it! It’s definitely still worth a listen though.
