EMA is bringing out “Marked” from her debut album Past Life Martyred Saints as a single, and on the b-side of the physical pressing (limited to 1000 copies) there will be a brand new track called “Angelo.” EMA has already written about California, but this song is specifically “about Oakland and the different ways people try to make a name for themselves there.” She’s also drafted in Oakland rapper Mz’Gorjis to contribute a verse.
