Deadmau5 collapses from exhaustion, cancels select tour dates

At Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club, fans watched as Canadian DJ-slash-producer Deadmau5 (a.k.a. Joel Zimmerman) buckled under the pressures and physical taxations of exhaustion and suddenly collapsed onstage during his performance last Friday night.

Reports indicate that medics and venue employees helped him get to the hospital, where he remained under medical supervision.

According to the official Deadmau5 website, on the advice of Zimmerman’s doctors, he is being forced to cancel several upcoming tour dates/festival appearances. Let’s hope that he quickly regains his health.
