Flock of Dimes, the solo project of Jenn Wasner (Wye Oak), has been signed by legendary Seattle label Sub Pop. The announcement comes in conjunction with the release of a new EP called Like So Much Desire, Flock of Dimes’ first new material since 2016.
Considering how much of a guitar boss Wasner is, it’s surprising to hear so much other instrumentation on Like So Much Desire, including violins, interlocking synths and more textural ambiance. The five-track effort is a simply stunning collection, which draws us closer to Wasner than ever.
