The Swedish singer-songwriter The Tarantula Waltz, real name Markus Svensson, was probably an unknown name to most who read our “Most Anticipated Albums of 2012″ feature, where he won a place for his upcoming third album, but he really shouldn’t be. He’s currently working on the follow-up to his largely excellent 2010 record Did Not Leave To Find But To Forget, To Leave Behind and it’s scheduled for a spring release, but he’s been playing material from the album live during the last year and it’s quite amazing.
In late November we got a first teaser from the album in the form of a session video for “Scandinavian Minds” and last week he released a second one for “Majestic Jaws”, which you can watch below. Both videos were made by Jonas Jacob Svensson, and the “Majestic Jaws” video was recorded in a church outside of Stockholm, Sweden. Remember the name.
