Will Sheff and Charles Bissell cover each other on new 7″

Singer/songwriter Will Sheff of Okkervil River and Charles Bissell of The Wrens will release a 7″ on which they cover each others songs. Sheff will cover “Ex-Girl Collection” from The Wrens’ 2003 album Meadowlands and Bissell performs “It Ends With A Fall” from Okkervil’s Down The River Of Golden Dreams, released in 2003. The 7″ will be released by Jagjaguwar starting on December 9 and will be available at shows, select retail and mail-order before a wider release in January 2009 according to Pitchfork Media.

Okkervil River is currently touring Europe in support of their latest album The Stand Ins until the end of November. During December Will Sheff will perform a few solo shows in the US including one with Charles Bissell on the 11th of December at Music Hall Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn and one with Swedish folk rocker The Tallest Man On Earth in Los Angeles on the 20th of December.
