Whole Foods to stream new album from The Weepies

In an interesting cross-marketing move, upscale supermarket chain Whole Foods Market announced that they will kick off their new music project by streaming The Weepies’ upcoming release “Be My Thrill” on their website’s blog starting September 4th. Furthermore, starting Sept. 7th (a week after the album’s August 31st release date), “Be My Thrill” will be prominently displayed at checkout lines in Whole Foods stores. The promotion marks the first installment of the music promotion, with a new album getting the grocery spotlight each month.
