Lower Dens are popping up on some critics’ lists as the end of 2010 approaches, while many music fans may be asking “who?” Well, the Baltimore band debuted their first album, Twin-Hand Movement, to wide acclaim and proceeded to tour the hell out of it this year. Highlights included 11 shows during CMJ. Lowlights included a set at FYF Fest that occurred with most of the crowd still in line. As they say in Baltimore, it’s all in the game.
But Lower Dens seems to have bright days ahead, starting with a single in January for the non-album track “Batman.” Check out the Yours Truly Session below and catch the band on tour with The Walkmen in early 2011.
