“Beyond Light” is the name of the opening track to CFCF’s forthcoming album Outside, and the new video for the track seems to capture something that is indeed beyond what we think of when we hear the word “light.” Filmmakers Derrick Belcham and Ruby Kato Attwood crate a mirage of hypnotizing light displays, a series of patterns and effects that seem unnatural and enchanting when in fact the duo played with nothing more toys, chemicals, and housewares bought from a department store and fed them through different light sources.
