Model-turned-singer Carmen Villain (aka Carmen Hillestad) has just released the video for the track “Easy” off her recently released debut record Sleeper. The album, which shares production duties between herself and Emil Nikolaisen (Serena-Maneesh), finds Villain mixing her dreamlike vocals over jagged, abrasive rhythms as she plays and incorporates guitar, bass, drum machines, keyboards and percussion into each track. “Easy” is a perfect example of the ragged harmony that she elicits from these seeming disparate sounds.
