Video: Pink Mountaintops – “Through All The Worry”

Pink Mountaintops, for those of you who don’t know, are a band that started out as a solo project of Black Mountain’s Stephen McBean, but has now grown into a full-on collective. Thier last album, 2009’s Outside Love, was their most accomplished to date, and now that McBean has finished touring duties with Black Mountain for Wilderness Heart, it seems that he is turning his attention back to Pink Mountaintops, who have some tour dates later this year.

They are also releasing this new song, “Through All The Worry,” which is going to be on the soundtrack to the new movie by Rob Leickner called Everything Louder Than Everything Else. Pink Mountaintops appear in the movie as the fictional band Metal Problems. Stereogum premiered the song, but are unclear as to whether this was written by Pink Mountaintops, or for them. They do seem to be confident that it is likely to appear on their next record though, which makes me believe the former.
