John Maus’s new album We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves is out next week, and if uber-jam “Believer” didn’t quite get you excited enough for it, maybe the video for next single “Head For The Country” will.
The Jennifer Juniper Stratford-directed clip is what some would call “steampunk” for its fusion of old and new technologies, all shown at VHS qaulity. It shows Maus taking a trip across this confusing landscape in a beautiful snow drift.
