Tyler The Creator signs to XL for Goblin

Word on the street is, Tyler the Creator from Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, (or just Odd Future) ditched Interscope records to sign a record deal for his second solo album, Goblin, with popular indie label XL (also home to artists such as MIA, Vampire Weekend, and Adele). The new video for “Yonkers,” was released last Friday.

The video, featuring Tyler and a violently-large cockroach, produced 375,000 views in the first 72 hours it was available. The rapper had this to say of the deal on his Twitter: “Yes, I Did A One Album Thing With XL. Thats Family. Don’t Trip, Still Have 100% Creative Control Over Raps, Beats, Videos, Covers. Fuck You.” Does he kiss his mother with that mouth?

Make sure to tune in to watch Tyler and the other members of the 10-piece rap group on Fallon tonight.
