Kristian Matsson, aka The Tallest Man On Earth, gave us two releases last year, but has been relatively quiet this year. Bummer, right? Well, worry not. 24bit reports that Matsson is teaming with Idiot Wind’s Amanda Bergman, whom he frequently collaborates with for live duets, for the soundtrack of Once A Year from director Gorki Glaser-Müller. The film will contain 7 original songs from the pair and could see release before the end of the year.
This comes on top of news that Jónsi will score the upcoming Cameron Crowe film We Bought A Zoo. No real details about whether the Sigur Rós frontman will write full songs or instrumental movements are yet available, but as far as film choice, the odds of more commercial exposure are heavily in Jónsi’s corner.
