Spill Gold announce new album Zaza, share the mesmeric title track

Cavernous, seductive kraut rock and fluid, psychedelic pop โ€“ that’s been Spill Gold‘s forte since Nina de Jong (drums/percussion/vocals) and Rosa Ronsdorf (synths/vocals) started the project. The band’s new single “Zaza” โ€“ also the title track of Spill Gold’s upcoming second LP โ€“ more than delivers on those fronts. The duo calls it “an ode to cockroaches, Clarice Lispector, tiny creatures, and to be honest.. to put it simple: an invitation for you and me to meet on the dancefloor.”

Zaza arrives next month โ€“ more specifically, on May 17 via Teenage Menopause Records. The band states the record is “a result of a need for hope that longs for an anti-anthropocentric and non-patriarchal world. The duo’s compositions navigate through cyclical patterns, echoing snakes biting their own take, volcanoโ€™s starting to erupt, witches’ fingers that crumble towers and birds of steel and feather. They invite you into a world where the concept of ‘the first’ or ‘the best’ fades away and ask you to join them on their musical journey with no clear beginning or end. “
