Slaughter Beach, Dog drops new album At The Moonbase

Slaughter Beach, Dog, the project of Jake Ewald (also of Modern Baseball), has dropped a new album called At The Moonbase. He and his collaborators have been building up something all month with his ‘advent calendar’ of little snippets of recording, shared daily, and today reveals the final product. On socials he says:

“11 new songs recorded alone at the Metal Shop and at home. Crucial remote assistance from Wil Schade (saxophone), Lucy Stone (vocals), Zack Robbins (vibe adjustment), Matt Schimelfenig (mixing) and Ian Farmer (mastering). Out now on the greatest record label in Philadelphia (lame-o)… We’ll talk more about it later – have a listen, hope you enjoy it, hope it brings you a glimmer of joy at the end of this terrible year. I love you very much.”

The 11-track At The Moonbase is available now on all streaming platforms, as well as on Bandcamp or physical and merch bundle pre-order on the official site. Perhaps if you need to escape the family this Christmas, a little voyage out of the atmosphere with At The Moonbase could be just the ticket.

You can find Slaughter Beach, Dog on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
