Phosphorescent has van, gear, merch stolen; asks for your help

Country-rockers Phosphorescent were the unfortunate victims of an untimely robbery late Thursday night after playing at New York City’s Pier 54. On the first night of their six-week US tour, Phosphorescent’s rental van holding all of their equipment and merchandise was stolen in Brooklyn. The crime was pretty devastating to say the least, with an estimated value of $40,000 in losses—some of which included some extremely rare gear owned by frontman Matthew Houck.

Phosphorescent have set up a Paypal account for anyone who wants to make a donation so they can replace their gear and help the band. Additionally, their management and label are offering a $5000 reward for the return of their gear.
