Well, that image above tells you just about everything we know about Purity Ring’s upcoming album: it’s coming out on July 24th through 4AD and Last Gang Records. This may seem like a pretty insignificant piece of news, but when you consider how good the songs they’ve released so far have been, you can understand why everyone’s getting excited.
Additionally, if you go to the group’s site, purityringsongs.com you can hear clips of some new songs. The clips are on a loop and you’ll keep hearing a loop of the same clip until you refresh the page, when you should start hearing a new song. There are five clips up on the site currently.
