In honor of this relaxing and sport-filled weekend, I present to you Tennis. The married duo of Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore began crafting their first material during their eight month voyage at sea along the Atlantic coast, writing some of their first tunes as a way of documenting the trip.
With only a few mp3s and one live performance in-tow, the terrific pair are shaking up the blogs and gaining plenty of hype in anticipation of their first release next month on Fire Talk [pre-order]. It’s also no surprise, then, that the terrific Underwater Peoples will also release a 7″ from Tennis later this summer.
