Fans of Tame Impala inquire within. Pond are an Australian band comprised of three of the four members of Tame Impala, and have signed with the same label, Modular, for their fourth studio album Beard Wives Denim. The album was recorded last year at a friend’s farmhouse in western Australia, and the first single from Beard Wives Denim sounds exactly like the kind of 70s psych rock that made us fall in love with Tame Impala last year. No specific release date has been set for the album, but look for more info in early 2012.
