In discussing the new of Montreal album, Paralytic Stalks, with others, one influence that keeps getting thrown up is ABBA (amongst a whole host of others, it really is a crazy album). Of all the songs on Paralytic Stalks, “Dour Percentage” is certainly the most ABBA-esque track, meaning it’s super poppy and possesses a killer hook. I seriously can’t imagine ABBA singing lyrics like these though. Check out “Dour Percentage” below.
