San Diego lo-fi psych-pop group Heavy Hawaii has a new 7″ out now on Art Fag Recordings, containing three tracks. The title track for the release is called “Super Bowl XXIX” and manages to shift seamlessly from sun-drenched flower-power psych to a particularly sophisticated hook reminiscent of Woods, creating a multi-faceted tune that proves more rewarding with repeat listens.
