Whatever intro I was going to think up, it won’t top My Old Kentucky Blog’s astute observation that “you practically need a goddamned app to keep track of all of Will Oldham’s projects anymore.” But, luckily for us the renowned songwriter is always busy, as it allows us gems like this one. “The Mindeater” is from a four-song collaborative EP (with Phantom Family Halo) of the same name and apparently also features a cover of The Everly Brothers’ “I Wonder If I Care So Much” that features Slint’s Todd Brashear.
