Monotonix’s current tour is their last, says singer

One Thirty BPM just got back from a ripping show with Monotonix. But the show ended on a bittersweet note, with lead singer, Ami Shelev, noting that the twelve-date tour they were beginning in Echo Park would be their last one, ever.

Shelev, after a rowdy and rambunctious set, stated that he was 46-years old, their drummer was about to become a father, and their guitarist had some seeds to sow as a single Israeli. He then instructed the crowd to tweet, text and, actually, drive to San Francisco and Austin to follow them on their last tour ever. Whether this is true or just another stunt in their stunt-filled show is yet to be seen. Either way, get out to see Monotonix. You won’t regret it, and you may not have another chance. Here are their remaining tour dates (note that the singer said they have twelve dates left, but fifteen are scheduled. I have no clue).
