Seemingly as a welcome to the new year to his fans, or perhaps a belated Christmas present, Pat Grossi aka Active Child has uploaded a beautiful version of “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” to his Soundcloud. The cover of the gospel favourite comes with little else, aside from the picture you see above and the caption “Look at the birds of the air,” but we’re more than glad to have this in our ears. This is a very welcome introduction to 2013 from Active Child, from whom we’ll hopefully be hearing some new music at some point this year.
