Let’s say you live under a rock, and, finally, decide it’s time to embark and discover all you’ve missed. Upon your emergence, among the plethora of things of which you may be unawares, Green Day’s approaching, epic rock trilogy would certainly be one of the musical elephants in the room.
¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré! were all planned to release this year, and the plan essentially stuck, with only the 3rd LP finding itself dashed to the earliest days of 2013. Look out for the three installments come September 25th, November 13th, and January 15th.
Speaking personally, 21st Century Breakdown didn’t leave me begging for more from the band, but many are still faithful in Green Day, and considering their past accomplishments, I don’t blame ’em.
