Fiona Grey conquers Rome on “Cavalier”

LA artist Fiona Grey traveled to Rome to record her upcoming debut album Adult Tantrums – and the first singles from that LP are to pop what Paganini was to the violin..

Grey’s latest single “Cavalier” has the vibe of Crash-era Charli XCX – one of the many artists Fiona has played with.

“‘Cavalier’ was one of the songs that inspired me to go back into the studio and make my debut LP versus just making an EP,” says Grey. “I felt like I had so much more to say and I’m so proud of what Steven Colyer and I were able to create with this track!”

Fiona’s previous single “Beer Drunk Glory Days” is one of the most beautiful ballads in ages, rivaling anything Ms. Swift has released recently. The song’s emotion is so universal I could even hear it being a country hit for a pop-leaning artist like Carrie Underwood or Carly Pearce.

For decades, Berlin and London have eclipsed Rome as the trendiest sites for pop music – but that could quickly change when Fiona’s Adult Tantrums gets released.
