“I’m on a song with my idol,” Jack Harlow reverently raps. It’s hard not to be excited for both him and Cordae – another outspoken Eminem fan – as they each finally get to link up with their favorite MC.
It all went down via a new remix of last year’s (underrated, if low stakes) Music to Be Murdered By – Side B track, “Killer”.
Both young guests do their thing, but when the man himself comes through with a new verse – “Dying laughing is the only way you’re killing me” – it’s clear all eyes are on Shady. It’s quite the update, at that, with Em shouting out Tha Carter III and Cardi B, discussing making peace with Snoop Dogg, and once again mourning the loss of Proof.
