LA-born alternative rock artist Devon Thompson has released her latest libidinous single and video, “So Close”, via Exquisite Feline.
Produced by James Salter (The Raveonettes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), Thompson says “So Close” is “for the people who love those moody, dark, intense, hot songs that make you feel almost feral and crazy… but in a good way.”
Her sultry ululations engulf this low slung, thumping track making it easy enough to find the poetry in a killing rage.
Thompson describes the accompanying video as: “sort of a Beetlejuice-kinda story where I’m already dead, but my lover isn’t. I kill him and bring him back to life so we can exist as the dead together cuz it’s more romantic.”
